Hearts Unveiled Because He Cares

Another amazing thing happened recently, at the clinic where we do weekly outreach,
I met a young, teenage girl who looked about 17 years old. She’d had a car accident not long ago. I asked her if I could pray for her because she couldn’t walk properly. After prayer she could walk much better. I also commanded her scars to leave as it’s not easy to have scars all over your face when you’re that age—or any age for that matter.
While I was praying for her, the Lord began to show me things in the spirit about her life. I saw that she was a quiet and shy girl; one that kept certain things that were causing her emotional pain deep inside her heart. There was lots of stuff she was going through that she didn’t share with anyone. As I saw that, I took a step of faith and decided to say it and pray for those things: for healing of her heart, and courage for her to be bolder and open her heart to others. I also saw her with a women’s group doing some sort of spiritual and emotional counselling; helping women who had suffered violent crimes. I could see she was helping them through these things as she’d gone through them herself.
Now, you have to understand that when something like this comes to you, sometimes you feel hesitant to speak up. Firstly, you could be wrong, and secondly, it’s her private life and I hardly knew her. Nevertheless, I felt a prodding in my heart to just say it, and as I did, I began to feel tear drops falling onto my hand as I was laying hands on her heart. I kept praying because I saw she needed internal and emotional healing.
After praying, she felt much better and then she had to go as she was called to collect her medicine.
This incident really encouraged me about stepping out in faith. Generally I’m pretty bold, but sometimes when it comes to extremely specific words of knowledge; it’s harder for me to share them. However, I’m learning to just say it as it comes and trust the Lord for the results, and the Lord has been faithful to deliver!
After all, the Word does say that these things would happen, so we should be expecting them. ”In the last days I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh and your sons and your daughters will prophesy; your young men will see visions and your old men will dream dreams.”(Acts 2:17-18) It’s right there in the Word and is happening here, and not just to me, but to EVERYONE! It can and will happen to YOU TOO if you want it to—just step out in faith and start! You’ll be surprised at what the Lord will do!
